A Family Business Oriented to the Industry
Air Brake & Power Equipment Co. LLC was founded in 1953 by the current generation’s great grandfather. Beginning as a family business, we have continued through four generations, evolving and adapting with the industries we serve.
Air compressors and compressed air systems have been a core focus of our business from the beginning. Over the years, Air Brake & Power developed the knowledge and know-how to not only supply equipment but complete system design, installation, service, maintenance and air audits.
Further Development and Growth to Other Fields
Over the years, Air Brake & Power Equipment Co. also developed to serve other fields in which its industrial customers needed special support. Air Brake & Power now supplies applications in hydraulics, filtration, safety equipment, custom control cables, and specialty components for the fire apparatus industry.
Our growth has been largely driven by a longstanding relationship with Gardner Denver. Air Brake & Power has been a Master Distributor for Gardner Denver for over 50 years, offering customers a large selection of compressed air equipment and the expertise to back it up.
